They touch on the potential of media, from Netflix to digital campaigns to facilitate contra-flows that run counter to the dominant flow from “West to Rest,” while acknowledging that global access to these technologies remains a challenge. They discuss how people are using technology in creative ways that don’t always surface in the dominant media.
